The Wellshire Inn

Welcome to Wellshire Inn. An admired Denver landmark for more than three-quarters of a century, Wellshire Inn was originally built in 1926 as a clubhouse for the then private Wellshire Country Club. Today, this handsome English Tudor structure continues to delight guests with its stately structure, rich history, whimsical detail and sweeping view of the beautiful Donald Ross-designed golf course, Front Range and downtown Denver. Rich tapestries adorn the walls, and love seats and chairs are upholstered with an opulent overlay of patterns, creating an intimate, comfortable experience for guests. On a grander scale, the original fireplace and mantle grace the multi-level lounge, creating a welcoming hearth for all visitors and is known by many as the most romantic spot in Denver. Across the mantle is a potpourri of mementos from other times and places - some European imports and others American - contributing to a magnificent medley of sumptuous quality, texture and color.
